I came across this picture of famous bodybuilder Frank Zane posing and thought it should be shared with you. As you may already know Frank Zane was at his peak in the late 70s and 80s and frequently competed against Arnold Schwarzenegger, amongst other bodybuilders of the time.

Frank Zane had the best all round physique out of all the early bodybuilders and his posing was second to none. He made it look effortless which is certainly not true. Have you ever tried to pose in front of the mirror? I tried it and decided to give up before someone spotted me!

Watch Arnold Schwarzenegger In Pumping Iron Movie Now March 20, 2009

Arnold Schwarzenegger starred in the film Pumping Iron when he was at his prime. Arnold was 28 years old when the movie Pumping Iron was made in 1977.

Pumping Iron was directed by George Butler and Robert Fiore and was probably the first bodybuilding movie ever. It highlighted the competitive nature of competing bodybuilders and their traing routines in the build up to the Mr Olympia contest. The film shows Schwarzenegger at his peak condition and arrogance towards the other bodybuilders. He played mind games with them all to unsettle them, and it worked.

The movie feature many other famous bodybuilders of the era including Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk),Mike Katz, Franco Columbo, Ed Corney, Ken Waller,Serge Nubret, Robbie Robinson and the fantastic Frank Zane.

Frank Zane in my opinion always had the best physique with a perfect balance of muscle mass and body fat levels. Combined with his excellent posing routines he was awesome.

This movie is still an inspiration to many bodybuilders both young and old and probably will be for many years to come.

Eric Capo Muscular And Ripped Bodybuilder – Chest Workout

I found this short video on youtube of bodybulder Eric Capo working his chest. Man this is a good physique, all in proportion and low bodyfat. Good range of motion and nice and slow to make it hurt! Don’t know if this guy is a professional bodybuilder or not but he looks awesome.

Good to see a bodybuilder training nice and slow with good form.

Anybody got any more information on this guy? I did a quick google but didn’t get that much info back.

Anyone who is into weight training has looked at the pictures of Arnold Schwarzenegger when he was in his bodybuilding prime and thought wow!

I still look at his pictures for training inspiration because, let’s face it, we all wish we could look like Arnold. Whenever I lack the motivation to go to the gym, a quick click through the photographs of Arnold and I am set for training.

These two are amongst my favourite pictures of Arnold Schwarzenegger and I hope you like them
